Education and Experience

Elizabeth double majored with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Psychology from the University of New Mexico and went on to earn her Master of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science/Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  

Elizabeth has primarily served adult patients in various settings, including acute inpatient, post-acute inpatient, inpatient skilled nursing, outpatient, and home health. She has provided rehabilitation therapy to individuals who have experienced stroke, traumatic brain injury, vocal fold/laryngeal disorders, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, head and neck cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, and more; thereby treating cognitive communication, executive function, swallowing, voice, speech (aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia), and fluency. Additionally, Elizabeth has experience working with early intervention and school-age children on the spectrum, as well as those with cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, substance abuse, ADHD, developmental language disorders, articulation, phonological, voice, and fluency impairments.

Personal Interests

Elizabeth is an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying fishing, kayaking, climbing, camping, hiking, backpacking, pickleball, racquetball, as well as woodworking and culinary arts. She also is interested in becoming involved with sailing and hunting.
