After earning her bachelor’s in sociology from Rice University, she embarked on a journey of continuous learning, completing a post-baccalaureate program at the University of Pennsylvania and obtaining her MSHS in Physician Assistant Studies from George Washington University. Edith’s dedication to education extends beyond the medical realm; she has previously served as a middle and high school math teacher in both Houston and Austin, Texas.
With a background as a Clinical Research Coordinator for Trauma Surgery and Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, Edith has honed her skills in providing compassionate and effective healthcare. Her commitment to patient care is underscored by her certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and CALS. Edith Teng is not just a healthcare professional, but a dedicated individual driven by a genuine desire to enhance the well-being of her patients and community.
