Education and Experience
Dr. Carly Allen completed her undergraduate studies at Evergreen State College where she earned both her BA and BS degrees. Next she attended Portland State University for her post-baccalaureate studies. Dr. Allen received her doctoral degree or Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the Western University of Health Sciences, COMP-Northwest. Her postgraduate residency was completed at Puyallup Tribal Health Authority.
Upon joining SEARHC, Dr. Allen said she was “pleased to join the care team at ELMC and to have the opportunity to work with as well as live in, this excellent, unique community.”
Dr. Allen’s professional interests are Osteopathic treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), obstetrics, complementary medicine and lifestyle management. Outside the clinic, she enjoys botany and horticulture, harvesting wild foods, painting, crafting, sailing, and reading.
