ACT is the statewide lead organization focused on the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Each year, ACT recognizes a local Champion for Kids for their dedication and commitment towards eliminating child abuse and neglect by ensuring that children are living in safe, supportive, and nurturing communities.

This year’s recipient will be Senator Anna MacKinnon. Senator MacKinnon has devoted her career towards keeping our children and families safe. She was instrumental in the transformation of ACT becoming an independent nonprofit. Most recently, the Senator ensured the passing of Erin’s law that helps schools implement a prevention-oriented child sexual abuse program.

Join us to congratulate Senator MacKinnon and support our efforts in preventing child abuse and neglect. ConocoPhillips is providing a $10,000 challenge grant – help us surpass this challenge. It will be a fun evening.
