Kat earned her Bachelor of Science and graduated cum laude in Dietetics from the University of Alaska Anchorage where she also completed her Dietetic Internship. Her internship included rotations in Clinical Nutrition at Providence Alaska Medical Center, School Food Service Management in the Anchorage School District, Rural & Community Nutrition with WIC, Outpatient Nutrition at the Southcentral Foundation, Renal Nutrition at the Fresenius Medical Centers, and Food Service Management at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
Professionally, Kat is interested in diabetes, weight management, sports nutrition, and physical fitness. During her time off, she likes to explore the arts and food scene in Juneau, try out new recipes, and enjoy Southeast Alaska’s liquid sunshine while hiking, camping, biking, and sailing.
