Valerie is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). She earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University. Drew did his undergraduate work at the University of Oregon, then attended the University of Massachusetts where he attained a bachelor of science degree in exercise physiology and a doctorate of Physical Therapy. After graduating with a bachelor's degree from the University of Oregon, Drew lived in Maui for a few years surfing every day.

Dr. Bowton attained his medical degree at Medical School at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He did his internship at Maine Medical Centers and his residency at the University of Washington. Dr. Bowton is a general orthopedic surgeon whose practice is centered around shoulder injury, as well as joint reconstruction of the shoulder,
