The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) will host a special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic on April 23-27 at the Yakutat Community Health Center and Dental Clinic.
This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, April 23-24, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (April 25-27). The clinic is open for children younger than 13 years old that are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska’s Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Lee Steinle will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic.
Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic should call Betty Bueller in Yakutat at 784-3260 or 784-3275, Ext. 25, to schedule an exam appointment. Denali KidCare is a state program designed to make sure Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and expecting mothers who meet income guidelines, have insurance so they have full access to health care. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
