Bev holds a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University in College Place, Wash. Bev is a licensed clinical social worker who works as a community family service worker in Craig. She has also worked as a behavioral health clinician with SEARHC's Gunaanastí Bill Brady Healing Center and Déilee Hít Safe Harbor House adult residential substance abuse treatment programs in Sitka. Before coming to Alaska, she was in private practice in Wyoming. She also has worked as an outpatient behavioral health clinician with Alaska Island Community Services in Wrangell.

Bev has special behavioral health interests in the holistic approach to counseling and mental health therapy. She also has a special interest in co-occurring diagnosis clients and those with a history of trauma and abuse. She is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, writer and artist. She is interested in multicultural awareness. Bev participates in the Mountain Man Rendezvous in Sublette County, Wyo. She also speaks French.
