Ann D. Patterson, MD

Dr. Patterson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. She did her internship and anesthesia residency at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation and at Louisiana State University Charity, both in New Orleans. Before joining SEARHC, Dr. Patterson worked in private practice in Brandon and Canton, Miss., the past three years. Before that, Dr. Patterson spent 11 years as an anesthesiologist in Baton Rouge, La., and four years in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Dr. Patterson's special medical interests are critical care patient care. She also enjoys spending time with her family, LSU sports, playing Scrabble and her dog Giselle, a Rhodesian ridgeback.
