SEARHC and the Alaska CPS Coalition welcome you to join over 36,000 nationally certified Child Passenger Technicians (CPSTs) and become a resource or advocate for child passenger safety in your community!

Training includes: presentations, video, practice activities, group discussions, written quizzes, indoor and outdoor activities (regardless of weather). There will also be a Car Seat Check Up event and Safe Kids Alaska will provide a daily Working Lunch.

SITKA – Recently, SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) welcomed sixteen Alaska Native/American Indian high school students to learn about health careers. The students participated in the 2016 Ethel Lund Village Health Occupations Program (VHOP) that took place from April 18 – 21 in Sitka.

JUNEAU –At approximately 3:30 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2016, a man entered the SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium’s (SEARHC) Juneau Behavioral Health Clinic in a noticeably agitated state demanding to see his provider. Upon hearing his provider was seeing another patient, he became increasingly upset and subsequently spent several minutes yelling profanities. Read more

SEARHC and the Sitka Tribe of Alaska will co-host a Health Insurance Enrollment Day on Friday, April 29 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm at the Social Services Building at 110 American Street. 

Come learn more about and/or sign up for Medicaid eligibility and the Tribally Sponsored Health Insurance Program (T-SHIP).
